I'm glad that you had the opportunity to try (and enjoy) Awicha, a personal favorite from our time in Lima When you return, if they still have "Antiguas Familias Familia Orellana Godoy Mistela de Quebranta, 2016" on the menu, be sure to finish your meal with this stunner Mistela. We first encountered it at Merito (during the single best tasting / pairing menu we had in Lima) and then I spent weeks trying to track down a few bottles without success. I eventually learned that most of the tiny supply of an earlier bottling had been bought up by Josep Roca and shipped back to Spain to be offered at El Celler de Can Roca, which is no small endorsement, so perhaps it's mostly exported still.
